Tiny Paws Poetry: The Red Dot Collection

February 9, 2025 by Tyson Leave a Comment

🐾 This collection is part of the Uncatchable Things series 🐾

Haiku by Tyson the Cat

The Hunt
Red glows on the rug.
Paws ready, heart in midair—
Gone. Just like my pride.

Existential Pounce
Chase without catching.
Is this joy? Is this madness?
Tail flick. Try again.

Ever Just Out of Reach
Flicker, dart, and spin.
I leap! It vanishes fast—
Mocking paws and dreams.

Red Dot Dreams
In my quiet nap,
Chasing endless fireflies—
I almost catch one.
