Tiny Paws Poetry: The Cold Toe Beans Collection

January 23, 2025 by Tyson Leave a Comment

🐾 This collection is part of the Elemental Purrspective series 🐾

Haiku by Tyson the Cat

Betrayal Falls Soft
The sky dropped silence.
White hush, cold as broken trust.
I stepped. I regretted.

Onset of Regret
One paw in the fluff.
Instant chill through noble pads.
Exit strategy?

Hop of Despair
Snow beneath my feet.
I launch like a spooked rabbit.
Where is the dry part?

Post-Traumatic Puddle
Back inside at last.
I lick each toe like a wound.
My soul remains damp.
